Paradigm! ughghghgh!

Paradigm is a perspective- for example, it is how you are "set in your ways" about something..  Your point of view that typically you refuse to change.  (Could be a stereotype, a grudge, or a belief about yourself, that you continue to hold on to and may even refuse to change.)  What paradigm do you hold about yourself and how do you think it has hurt you or possibly helped you?

(Ex:   "I suck at English classes!   I can never pass them!"   With this in your mind you have doomed yourself to never try, let alone believe you can even be good at it ever!!   It can ruin a relationship with every teacher of English you encounter AND with others in the class whom you have to work with.  It may even get to the point that it annoys your friends or teacher and shuts them out while they were trying to change your paradigm!)

Centered?

Do you center your life around any one thing/ goal/ or person?  If so, what is it and what effects has it had on your life?   If you cannot think of one for yourself, describe someone you know (with a pseudonym) who is in this situation and what effect it has had on others around him/ her.

Pitied or admired?

Would you rather be pitied or admired?  (Think about it)   Describe a situation that would best illustrate your answer.
